Living on the territory of the Ethnopark will allow you to see with your own eyes the unique collection of platbands of the Vladimir - Suzdal land. The authors of the project managed to give them an up-to-date sound and a new utilitarian orientation: to present the platbands not as a standard window decor, but as a kind of framing of memories of the fates and stories of people who glorified the Vladimir land.
After visiting the ethnocomplex, you will learn about the symbolism of the platband, reveal its semantic meaning.
Workshops and summer workshops are regularly held at the site of the ethnocomplex. It is a full-fledged immersive museum with a unique philosophy.
- The platband is not only a symbol of the fading beauty of wooden architecture, - says the curator of the project, a well-known architect, a specialist in the field of restoration of wooden architecture Vladimir Ericovich Koechter. – This is an opportunity to make a modern version of an immersive multidisciplinary exhibition project. Why don't most museums visit twice? Because nothing has changed in them for decades. Most museums that do not have mobile exhibitions are ready to demonstrate the same thing for years. And our project is not only the concept of total immersion in meanings, it is an exhibition that can completely change navigation after a while. Such a museum is also a place of power, the location itself in the amazingly beautiful and iconic places of the Sobinsky district serves to reveal the meanings of the project.
The second topic that visitors to the glamping can get acquainted with is historical and ecotourism. These places cherish the memory of the great Russian commander. You will get acquainted with ancient architectural monuments and interesting tourist sites. At the same time, 40 people can be accommodated in ten houses in order to explore in more detail the nearby objects: the magnificent Holy Kazan Temple, two springs of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, in which A.V. Suvorov bathed, the A.V. Suvorov Museum, a memorial stone in the Suvorov Grove.
The location of the Suvorov campsite is closely connected with the development of the interregional route "Through Suvorov places", which covers the villages of Undol, Cherkutino, Alepino, Kistysh and the village of Orekhovo. These destinations are not only famous for their beautiful views. This is the story itself, connected with the outstanding people of the province.
